01 / Where it began

Rain should not interrupt your day.

Our story began with a closer look at everyday life. In the city, changing weather often shapes our plans: checking the forecast before leaving home, making our way to work, moving through busy streets, or adjusting a trip when rain arrives unexpectedly.

Yet preparing for rain can still feel like an extra task. We pack a raincoat just in case, or find ourselves looking for shelter when the weather turns.

Traditional rainwear is often designed as equipment for a particular situation. It can provide protection, but it does not always feel at home in an everyday wardrobe.

We began to ask a simple question: what if a rain jacket felt as natural to wear as any other everyday coat? What if we no longer had to make a separate plan for sunny days and rainy ones?

When someone at home says, “It might rain today,” we want the answer to be, “I’ll wear this jacket,” rather than, “I need to bring a raincoat.”
