I live in Maquoketa, Iowa—a quiet place that is made for walking, camping, and taking life at a slower pace. But summer weather here can change quickly. A sunny afternoon can become a heavy downpour or thunderstorm with very little warning.
And I was always forgetting my umbrella. I never liked wearing traditional rain gear, and I treated it as something I only needed once the rain had already started. After getting caught in the rain too many times—and having outdoor plans interrupted by sudden storms—I began to wonder why rainwear could not feel more like ordinary clothing.

RAINVELLA LLC is an independent online retailer founded in Maquoketa, Iowa.
I personally manage the day-to-day work behind the store. There is no separate management team. I take part in selecting products, communicating with suppliers, managing inventory, coordinating orders, arranging shipments, and improving the customer experience.
When you order from RAINVELLA, your order is connected to a small business that I run directly. I continue to review our products carefully and pay attention to the questions and challenges customers experience before, during, and after a purchase.
How does a raincoat reach you?
Our work does not end when an order is placed.
We first confirm the order and product availability, then arrange shipment according to inventory location, product supply, and delivery requirements. Some orders ship directly from our United States warehouse, while others are fulfilled by a third-party logistics warehouse. This approach allows us to manage inventory across locations and send different products from the most appropriate point.
Once an order ships, we work with established carriers including DHL and FedEx. Tracking information is provided when available, and RAINVELLA continues to monitor the delivery process regardless of which warehouse handled the order.
Our primary market is the United States.
